Day 5: penang-kuala kangsar-kl

we start again no so early 9:00 am met at the lobby and we headed just to shop next door "Old Town Coffee"... yeah you can get it anywhere... tapi bukan ngan jiran kan?

lepas tu kitaorg terus checkout and headed to Pasar Lorong Kulit. while Faizal & Aqeel ke hospital coz afeef boleh keluar hari ni.. yeay! hmmm.. sebenarnya ada benda diidamkan kat sini.. dok baca blog PML (Pinggan Mangkuk Lama) & antique collectors katanya kat sini boleh jumpa macam2. oh yeay??

and among all, i love this one so much! i think it is a good buy!



and the pak cik who sell the things to me thought that i am a profesional hunter siap belek my watch yg i pakai.. coz that is one of the vintage collection also (thanks bee for the 2011 birthday present). no la pak cik.. i am just ordinary person who love antiques and history so much. if i am a profesional i done that for living and my career pak cik.

before kereta kena saman coz sesuka hati parking tepi jalan we got to move.. masa tu i am still in the pasar bargain for that kaki lilin i love so much.. i almost went back but returned back to that pak cik and bargain for that. not so cheap but hati dah suka siapa kisahkan! i will keep it rusty like that coz that is the "value". thanks pak cik for a lovely tips and few knowledge sharing. Panjang umur Insyaallah kita jumpa lagi :)



among of my enamel collection reunited :) some from sabah, from perak, from johor, from singapore and from penang. welcome home :)



err.. even i said i love pinggan mangkuk lama and some antiques things, if i am not mistaken this is first time i post a pictures and elobrate more about it. hmmm.. i am just a small collector. i do not have luxury items so much and i only keep the things that i love :)

eh.. tercerita panjang lak pasal my passion.. ok lepas pasar lorong kulit we headed to the hospital.. tunggu afeef discharged.. yeay.. reunited balik dgn the convoy. kita bawa derang ke Fort Conwallis.. yes revisited just for gee & family.

kitaorg tak keluar dok dalam kereta je.. panas kot... keluar kejap2 je beli rojak buah dan bergambar sebelum balik :)






bye penang.. we shall see you again Insyaallah.. belum puas rasanya meneroka Penang.



hmmm.. masih ada satu lagi permintaan peserta kembara jiran lom ditunaikan... yes! mee udang sungai dua. let's go! hanya berpandukan google map kita pun mencari mee udang sungai dua pengkalan tambang. sebelum sampai.. suspend gak takut sesat.. dua kereta yang kat belakang tu main ikut je kan.. and tarraaa....



ye.. i dunno why derang2 ni kalau ambik gambar tgh mkn suka sgt ambik gambar i tgh menyuap kan.. molek sgt.. lantakla... janji memang sedap.. memula kita pilih udang dulu dan timbang dan bagi tau dgn dia nak masak apa... kalau nak makan mee udang kena bagi tau utk berapa orang makan.. so nanti derang preparekan and hantar pada kita. ditgh2hari buta pekena plak ngan air kelapa... so refreshing. i just love it.. nak bergambar korangnya sukala.. i nak makan!



lepas dah kenyang, dah ke toilet, budak2 dah diuruskan....kita pun meneruskan perjalanan pulang ke KL. sebelum tu hakim ada bagi tau dia akan bermlm kat kuala kangsar rumah saudara dia... masa dalam perjalanan.. i am still thinking about it.. to inform or not.. to inform or not.. and i pop up the idea to roch.. "Jom singgah Kuala Kangsar.. sian Gee and family tak dpt berjalan hari tu kat Penang singgah sini ok jugak." Roch suruh tanya faizal, is faizal ok kita singgah.... call him and he said "ok je kitaorg ikut je." call hakim suruh dia lead kat kuala kangsar.. see berbagi tugas dengan jayanya .. faizal lead cameron, kami lead penang & hakim lead kuala kangsar.. "Jiran Sepakat Membawa Berkat".

turun la kita ke kuala kangsar. mula2 hakim bawa singgah masjid ubudiah yg selalu kita tgk je kat tv dan ada pada kad2 raya dulu2. ingat?



sambil2 bergambar, faizal belanja makan aiskrim.... hmm so nostalagic nothing fancy.. beli aiskrim dr pakcik yg jual atas motor dgn ais krim potong dgn calong/cone atau dgn roti. ohh miss that... lama nya tak makan aiskrim potong dgn roti. dulu2 masa kecik mesti boleh dpt ni beli lepak kat tepi pantai lido JB petang2 hari. sekarang tak der lagi kot mcm tu.. ntah long time time tak pergi JB.. tempat lepak2 dulu pun dah ditambak kan. eh dah masuk cerita lain plak...

lepas tu kita ke istana lama atau kini sudah dijadikan muzim negeri perak.

after that, hakim bawa kita pekan kuala kangsar untuk beli labu sayung.. i got myself the small one aje beberapa jenis tak guna pun untuk isi air and hubby beli rehal. hasil kraftangan rakyat tempatan. ehemm... beli rehal tu tandanya susuh ngaji lagi byk tu.. ehemm...

sebelum balik, kita perkena cendol dulu!

ok time to go back to KL.. faizal and us to KL and hakim headed to his relative's house. enough drama.... macam2 hal berlaku... i thought it's end there.. however,



see that ugly mad woman in the car? yes our car broke down just after gua tempurung before tapah... no one like to be stranded at the middle of the highway near the maghrib time which is we just got lucky not near the hutan2 just nice kat tempat lapang sikit.. drama sangat kan! yes gee & faizal ahead of us.. so we called them up and asked to wait at RnR Tapah.

waiting for the tow truck about one hour kena bawa ke bengkel kat tapah and try to repair kalau boleh.. sad news! yes it can't be repaired. what a nightmare! when i was 12 i had a nightmare in Tapah.. and i remember it until now. now i am 29++ a nightmare will be repeated?

after a few discussions, roch dediced to bring back the car to KL with carrier instead of tow truck coz laju sikit and myself akan tumpang gee&faizal balik rumah terus since i am not feeling well. dalam pukul 11:30 mlm sampai rumah and roch terus ke workshop ngan carrier tadi my bro will fetch him. gedebak gedebuk pukul 12:30 mlm baru roch sampai rumah. i am half awake. habis derang punggah semua barang tapi lantak la.. dah tak larat nak tgk.. i just need my bed...

overall trips i can say it is successful regardless banyak drama & kejadian2 yang tidak diingini berlaku. hey that's life... it is not always smooth sailing right? so Jiran, another trip? when? where?

last but not least, thanks gee & faizal coz tumpangkan sampai rumah.. kalau naik carrier tu ntahla kul baper aku sampai ngan keadaan demam lagi.. korang kasi gak tumpang bersempit2 dlm kereta kan.. thank you so much i owe you one kay!

upah penat balik berjalan adalah baju kotor berbakul2 dan yes i am on fever for a week! dah la memang cuti ganti maudilur rasul & thaipussam. i continue my leave with MC for 2 days, masuk office hari Jumaat tapi half day aje and still in recovery until i draft this entry on 12 Feb 2012. get well soon baiti!

can't wait for another trip but i guess kita dok rumah lama ni.. coz unexpected budget pasal kereta rosak.. bukan tak service ye tapi ..... (tak leh cakap.... nanti kereta sekarang merajuk :P).. oh forgot to mention, sebab marah masa kereta rosak masa keluar dari kereta for the first time i kick this car. gila anginkan!
